Orion XTR Sub.... what amp to run?

I have a orion xtr sub that is a few years old still brand new in the box ready to be used..... but I have no amp for it. What kinda power should I run to this sub? It states on the box that its 900Watts RMS.... But I find that hard to belive!

Please help, was looking at Alpint mrp-m350 or a Alpine T-707 or jl 250/1.

Sugestions?

That sub can definitely handle some power, XTR subs were most certainly a well built sub.

I've used many of the XTR drivers. Which series of XTR is it?

I would give it around 500rms. The T707 won't work for this driver as it's not 2ohm mono stable and the other two amps.........well for the same money as they cost you could get more power which would be beneficial as they aren't the best choice for this driver.
Something like a RF P600.1 would be an excellent choice and it won't break the bank.

Sweet think I might looking into the Rockford Fosgate 6001db..... So you think 500Rms will be enought.

Going to look into the RF and see if there are any for sale on this board!

Thanx
