Alright, alright . . .
So I still haven't yet nailed down what features this unit does and does not have. I have spoken with every dealer in town and even the local reps. I even called Alpine tech support myself. However, no one, not even the reps or tech guys could provide me with consistent answers.
Please, can someone who owns or "throroughly" knows this unit, answer and/or confirm these questions for me:
1. Is there a remote control that comes with the IVA-D300? Yes or No.
2. Is there detachable face security on the IVA-D300? Yes or No.
3. How many preouts are there on the IVA-D300? 1 - 3.
4. What is the preout voltage of all of the preouts? 2V or 4V.
5. Are there any screensavers or spectrum analyzers on the IVA-D300 while listening to music? Can you donwload or customize your own?
6. Does the DVD menu touchscreen feature work on most DVD's? Is this feature really worth it or do you still have to use Alpine's default DVD menu navigation?
7. How many characters can the unit display when showing CD text or MP3 tag information?
Thanks to all those who answered. Hopefully, I will get some consistent repsonses so that I can finally make my decision on which screen to buy (ie. 901 vs. 300).

i have used both the d300 and d900, the screen quality of the 300 isnt as good as the 900(different screen) , there really is no question get the 900, its far superior in pic quality and sound quality, th e900 uses different d/a converters than the d300

DUDE, i replied to your other post about this deck which u seems to totally forget about. i have D300 and i had answered all your questions in your other post.
