Passive crossover question..

Hi its my first post here but i been reading for a while.. im from quebec so excuse my poor english so heres my problem, i installed 2 pairs of mb quarts component myself ilast summer without knowin at all what i was doin..to tell u the truth they sound terrible..the midbass " pop " and the tweeters are extremly loud..i think i installed them wrong and blew them up. anyway now my 1200x1 phoenix gold xenon amp blew up too and shattered my poor sub(fu** ebay) so i guess now its time for big boy things.

im lookin to purchase the hertz MLK3 and gettin it installed profesionaly so i wont blow these off too..

So my question is how many Watt rms should i giv to the passive crossover without blowin anything? the specs of the system are 150 rms to 300 max but the tweeter/mid/woofer has diferents power specs..(will tweeter be overpowered while the woofer starvin?) i was lookin to get the HP2 amp that giv 370x2 at 4ohm and set the gain low..? is that too much? sorry about all the questions im not good with electronic so any advice will be much appreciated THANK YOU!
