Paypal & Ebay 21 Day Hold Policy

I'm soooooo pissed, I sold a few amps on ebay last week, my items where paid for using PAYPRICK so i then find another item that i want so i buy using the funds that i recived from ebay next day i get email stating that my account has been suspended until i supply tracking info for goods and credit card info for address verification. What BS my bank account is paypal verified So i forward all info to paypal and they say that the hold will not be lifted untill goods arrive to buyers. So now i had to ship goods with money out of my pocket and the hold has screwed up another deal that i was working on. Apparently this is the way paypal now works on ebay. This i the last time i ever use paypimp ******!!!!!!!

Honestly... I kind of like the idea.

I got taken for a ride a few months ago and it would have been fixed if this policy were in place.

I sent a guy some money and within a week (3-4 days actually) found out he was scamming people. So I put in my claim but it was too late, he had already transferred the money out to another account.

THat doesn't seem to make sense though.. that's why they verify a credit card and your bank account... I've never personally had an issue.

They don't go after your bank or credit card if you owe someone else... it's only used to take funds if you want to buy something

Jordy sorry to here that u where burned i guess buyer protection didnt work out for you. It works both ways though as of right now im out my merchandise and shipping money paypal has made feel as though i'm guilty and need to proove my innocence. Dealing with paypal is like trying to get money back from the government at tax time. I was never notified of such protocol and made to jump through hoops in order to appease payal. I hope that when my goods are delivered they will review my case and release my money. All of this has made me very nervous i will definatly think twice before i use them again.

Yup... I hear you... I try to avoid PP as much as possible by now.

Trust me though tax time with the government is a piece of cake compared to PP! (But I might just be saying that because I work at CRA!)
