Looking for a cheap sound deadner for a budget car/budget stereo. I read that peel n seal is great but my local HD and Rona (both small as in milton) dont carry it and have never heard about it and there workers arent older than 16 and couldnt find a hair on there head!!

So does anyone know where in the milton, burlington area when I can find this stuff for the cheapest.

 

Where did you read peel and seal is great? I read it was BAD!

 

I know peel and seal works like a charm!! I did my whole car in the stuff, I got my rolls from RONA !! The only place I found it in Rona, NO one knew about the stuff either, so don't feel bad, However I found it in the roofing repairs sections. HD doesn't carry a good kind, its not very thick, the Rona stuff is much thicker, and applies JUST like most deadeners!(at least from my experience)

I was told of another place in brampton but I didnt really wanna drive 45 min to get it from a warehouse that makes you buy bulk

 

Danny= its going on almost 3 years I have had this in my car(I have done my trunk first, then I did in my car such as roof, then floor, then firewall, then doors) and I noticed a HUGE difference, alot less road noise, and it wasn't bad installing it all,

wot= Yes it was peel and seel, found in the roofing section of rona, and I know that almost all of them have it, as I went to cambridge and found it, kitchener, and a London one(haven't tried any other ones)

 

Well I went to my 2 local ronas today and neither had it (burlington/milton), the burlington store had something that was like it, 4" wide and 50" long but it didnt have the aluminum foil backing and was called something else and it was all they had.

I contacted a peel n seal rep and they said some place in brampton had it, but I wasnt really looking to drive an hour to pick this up. hell kitchener might even be closer for me

 

LOL, then cambridge would def. be closer as its right off the highway...

 

just wondering if anyone has tried blueskin as a cheap alternative?
