Buddy that sits beside me is "new" on anything to do with his car, I was showing him the Eclipse 8443 Deck for sale for 550$ explaining that it has the 8 volt pre-outs,saving hassle of seperate line driver and just buy this deck since it's a pretty sweet deck, his response is " nah all you need is that cable that goes to the battery then to them cap things, which then go to that other thing, I think it's called an amp"??? YOU THINK??, then his next comment was "Yeah my subs where to big so they kept blowing my fuses" which is why I had to get one of them cap things put into my car?... Thinking to my self yeah the subs are blowing your fuse, did you ever think it's maybe that thing that connect to your battery that connects to that other thing you call al "cap" or your wiring period or your using to small of fuse?? LOL... Just like with his " aftermarket turbo" his PURGE VALVE BLEW... mmm turbo's don't have purge valves N.O.S applications do.. So hard to just not laugh at the guy..... I don't by means know near as much as you guys do out there but I know what I know to get my stuff running without explaining like he did lol......

Sits beside you as in your same cube at work? Pretend you're on the phone with a customer, hit the mic button and say "You're soo dumb... you're soooooo DUMB!" Have him look over and wait till he says "hey, you're not on a call. Then say, "Yeah, I was actually talking to YOU."

Or maybe just put your hand over your eyes and shake your head or something.

hah yeah beside me, he's gone now thank god you look at the guy and you see "dumb" all marbles some words....

hey we aren't born walking. I used to think that subs moved forward if you hooked them up one way, and reverse if you hook them up reverse polarity. But i used to swear by the way i would hook it up. But i know now the proper way and why.

Soo have you had to replace ur Purge Valve on your turbo yet? lol...

True we learned to walk, but this guy doesn't even attempt to seem like he has knowledge, when he talks about anything with his car he makes it sound like he knows all cause he "repeats" his mechanic....but soon as he does to say something on his own yeah the marbles start rolling....

Some guy said his subs were Bandpass subs..
I says pardon!

So he went to flee market and got a bandpass box.
I got to say.. it sounds pretty frikin good.

Now he thinks for real his subs are bandpass subs.

Now some of you guys will agree with this in principle, as a car audio store owner and having sold car audio for 16 years, the stupid questions never end, I never tire of responses though, but how many times have you wanted to smack some dude upside the head because he just doesn't get it? When they were handing out brains he thought they said trains so he jumped on and went for a ride....
