Well some of you know already but we are also building my truck as a kind of demo vehicle for the shop. I will still be daily driving it in the summers but it is going to get quite a large change to the interior and exterior(if there is time to do the exterior this year).

After much deliberation on just what we should try to accomplish with it we came up with this. I guess it really doesnt fit into your typical classification but I will explain our goal. It will have an SQ sound and install, but will also be capable of dropping real low and hard to do some serious ground pounding on the street as an everyday pounder too. What we are going to do is prove that it is possible so have serious SQ when you want it and still have a serious ground pounder too!!!

I wont give up to much about the install but here is a list of the equipment going in:
Vehicle: 1998 Dodge Dakota ext. cab
H/U: Alpine 7998
EQ: Orion Concept 97.2
Front end: Image Dynamics CD1 Pro mini horns and Image CX62 mid bass drivers
Front amp: Treo SSX 75.4
Subs: 3 Image Dynamics ID Max 12"
Sub amps: 2 Treo SSX 750.1's

As you can see that is alot of gear!!!

Here are a few pics, we will be updating this gallery also as we make progress and have time to do the updates!!!

Just curious;
Three IDmax's and only two 750.1's?
Is that a typo?

I'm guessing the amps are strapable.

So wire up all three subs to 1 set of wires coming out and hook that up to the strapped pair of amps.

yeah the amps are strapable, they will see a final load of 2.6 or 1.3 each amp. I figure 2400wrms between three woofers is enough!!
