Well there are not going out the door. The line has been sold. Phoenix Gold will be continuing business as per usual just a different party will be running and owning it. The lines that are out will still continue and the prices will stay the same and the quality in the long run will increase. We know who has bought it but I can not say because I have been asked not to say anything. I m not sure if it is public info. And if you have had problem ordering items this is why. They are shipping now and everything still seems to be online.

pg is not like they used to be but still an all right brand to have in a ride. I think they will still have a good following regardless of their ups and downs in the past few years. Who knows maybe microsoft bought them out ??

The car audio market is not at its peak anymore. Lots of companies that rode the wave years ago have had less success. You have the big boys like Pioneer, Alpine etc. and the smaller ones like PG, plus you have lots of cheap made in china brands. I suspect PG will not be the last to have difficulty. The name has lost some value in the last years. We used to sell lots, but then new new octane subs just failed miserable and we refused to cary them anymore. Even the expensive top line Xenon subs seemed cheap. Fancy rubber look, and smell, but parts always falling off.
The octane amps where nice, but rather expensive when comparing specwise to others.
