hey guys...
i had the opportunity to get a good look at an MS2125 and another smaller 4 channel version...
nice amps,
i did some research but i cant find out what a fair price to pay is for these things.
i was told the 2125 retialed for $2,000 in 1992..
what are they worth today?
i found some specs, but nothing much more./
thanks

Hey Bing,
I agree, those old school amps rule. I'm currently collecting a few for a system I plan on installing in my truck. On Ebay they usually go for between $250-$350 USD, with a few exceptions of course. I've purchased an MS250, and 2 MS275's so far and they were all between $125-$200 a piece.

another question
i saw one of these Phoenix Gold cross overs called the XVR12..
i ofund a site that said it was $449 USd new..
it took two speaker inputs from the amp and turned it into a sub channel, front right and left, a mono rear and a centre channel...
WTF is this thing.. it looked HOT

The XVR 12 was only good for a 2 ohm subwoofer load. The XVR 14 had the 4 ohm sub load.
The center chanell combined the left and right inputs and the rear fill was 8 ohm.
This is my old untouched for a few yrs webpage that has the XVR owners manual on it. http://www.geocities.com/toyrantula/xvrmanual.html The manual is written up to cover both the XVR 12 and 14.
There was also a smaller XVR for left and right front ch and sub out only in either ohm load for the sub. No center chanell or rear fill on those.
Originally bought my XVR 14 with a ZX 200 and bandpassed XS 12. Sure sounded good. Still havethe XVR 14 here, but no top cover on it. My kid cracked it putting it back in. If I remember the price bible $480 canadian sounded pretty close.
