I've been running my 8.4:0 for a month or two now and I'm extremely happy. It's going to the stock components in my Golf and the sound is clean without being harsh.

Power-wise the gains on the amp are set at half. I'm running the amp from a Kenwood Excellon deck so I don't imagine the pre-outs are giving a terribly strong signal.
