For those that care Phoenix Gold finally has a web page up with the xenon stuff on it. For those of you that do not know the xenon line is to eventualy replace tantrum and titanium. They are suppose to have the quality of titanium or better and be cheaper then tantrum.

They have a four channel amp that puts out 200W x4

Too bad they're butt ugly. That whole silver rectangle with the 4 spikes really IS NOT attractive, looks like somthing you'd see at Best Buy. Somewhere, a bunch of MS amps are crying.

That said, the performance of these amps is supposed to be outstanding. They claim better build quality than the MS amps though I didn't see any gold plated boards in the spy shots. Just have to wait and see till they hit the street to find out just how good they really are. At least the price will be less than Ti series.

I just noticed in the manual that it has something called Xe.load. This looks exactly like JL's RIPS system and keeps the output constant at 4,2 or 1 ohm loads. They look mighty promising.

I will agree the subs are ugly but I think the amps look good.
The amps seem to offer everything the JLs off just more power for the buck
