finally have the word... looks like the premier 960 will be carried over in canada for 05
there is a 970 to be released in the US above the 960 but it will not be available in Canada in 05

so the 960 will remain tops

Hi i was told about the new US 970 by the assistant to the director of marketing for pioneer canada.. if i am wrong they are lying to me .... for real

anyways the last two guys here u and the other guy, seem a little full of your selves I provided a honest post to provide inforamtion to those of us out there wondering waiting for pioneer to get their act together re the 2005s... they are 'introduced' this years lineup particularly bad in my view.... i am not sure why u two guys have to take just a negative and UGLY attitude as u do.. it tells alot to those reading the post... almost, to let u know i have been following this postfor over a year now every day just i have not logged on because i am at work and just wnat to see what people are saying and i dont need to logo for that... anyways, u poor guys need an attitude adjustment.. have a great day u guys...

Hey, everyone makes mistakes so whether the person at Pioneer mispoke or you misunderstood, it doesn't really matter. It's not a lie it's just a mistake.

By the way, did you get a name from the person you spoke to at Pioneer? I'm not sure who it might be as the title you mentioned isn't directly associated with anyone I can think of. If you can remember, I'll let them know they possibly gave you some misinformation.

Pioneer Guy is truly one of the more stand up guys I know, he has never mis-spoken about any topic -- if fact I admire how patient he can be with people -- he was not attacking you -- he was just trying to dispell misinformation, which is very commnon in the car audio industry.

Sometimes meaning can be lost in a post becuase the inflection of the sentence is lost & sometimes people take things the wrong way.
