The power will always be divided by how many subs.
500 watt amp with 2 subs will be 250 each. 2000 watt amp with 4 subs will be 500 each etc.
The impedance or ohms will depict how much power an amp can put out. If you have subs running below the rated impedance you can risk damaging the amp. At the same time with too high of an impedance the amp wont put out as much power.
Take this amp for example:
16PRX11000 - Memphis Car Audio
If you click on the specs page it shows 1000x1 at 1 ohm, 750x1 at 2 ohm, or 400x1 at 4 ohms. Obviously you want to run it at 1 ohm if possible, but if you were using your kicker subs for example it would be running at 2 ohms. You should decide which subs you want to keep using and match the amp up to them.

The dx 250.1 is a single channel amp. Where are you getting your info from. Even the name 250.1 implies that it's a single channel amp.

If your pictures were of the 4 speaker outputs (2 positive and 2 negative) then this is used to connect two subs but the amp is still outputting ONE channel, not two separate ones.

Your pictures are not visible. Also, the specifications on the Kicker website clearly state that it is a single channel mono amp...

The connection is made inside the amp. Before you start calling things dumb you should use your head.
Not hard for them to link them together inside the amp. Also, have you found any where that it says this is a 2 channel amp? other than you assuming it is?
Keep in mind some of the forum members (myself included) have been working in the industry likely for longer than you've been alive.
