Pioneer DEH-P3900MP Vs. Kenwood KDC-MP3035

I have narrowed my search for a deck down to these two models:

Pioneer DEH-P3900MP CD receiver with MP3/WMA/AAC playback at Crutchfield.com

&

Kenwood KDC-MP3035 CD receiver with MP3/WMA/AAC playback at Crutchfield.com

I can get the Pioneer for $179, with a 10% discount and I can get the Kenwood for $219 from a local shop.

Which deck would be best?

They are both pretty close to the same. You would have to decide if you wanted the front or rear auxillary imput, and which deck looks better to you. They do basically the same things. It looks like the Kenwood may be a tad better, it also has a few more optional accessories. My dad and I have had Pioneer decks for quite a while and no compaints yet. So just pick which ever one you like, unless you plan on attaching HD Radio and Bluetooth. If not, then just pick which ever one you think looks better.

The Kenwood has a slightly better Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC) at 24 bits. The Pioneer has a 16 bit DAC. I used to have a Pioneer Premier series a few years back....didn't really have any complaints with it. Also had a nice Alpine 9813 and am currently running a Kenwood KDC-X589 which I am very happy with.
