just saw this post. I have had this amp for close to a year pushing 2 15" vegas. It sounds good and absolutely no problems. It barely gets warm even after a full hour of very hard pounding in the summer at the park. I love this amp, too bad pioneer hasn't brought over the gm-d515 from europe. It's a nice compact 5 channel(4 ch class a/b, 1 channel class d) 500 watt rms amp that would be perfect for one of my honey's ride.

 

sorry about that guys, my punch 6001bd does have a subsonic filter. I guess you should read your manual to get the most out of your product. Anyway, I still believe the pioneer is a great amp for the money subsonic filter or not.
