Pioneer GM-H amp hookup
#11
I had 2 of the GM-H200's. You only need the one IGN wire, it was blue, if your deck puts out 12v.
Pioneer had an old idea that it could also be turned on by grounding the red wire. Acutally it makes sense, you could use a relay to short the 2 wires, then you wouldn't draw any current from your deck.
I miss those amps. One was stolen, gave the other away.

I loved that series of amps actually. I had a GM-H400!!! Not many were made from what I can tell. Can't even find a record of it online!!! Had it brdiged mono in the old days @ 2 ohm to 2 o/s RF Punch 15's!!! I gave blurred vision NOOO problem.

I keep trying to find another 400... good luck to me I know That thing was huge too. Got wicked hot but never ever shut down. In my opinion the gm-h amps were great at the time and for anyone needing a nice low$$$ amp, you can not beat them. New schoolers for the most part never saw these amps so seeing that a lot of the new stuff is junk, everyone thinks the old stuff is too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're like an old HCCA, but they were pretty nice for the $$$ and remain so.
