Pioneer Premier TS-W1007D4

Alright guys, ive come across these subs and done a little research on them. Apparently they are very similar to the model year before them, they are just rebadged for 07. The model im looking at is the 10" 4 Ohm DVC. From what ive read the model previous to these ones (06) were proven performers. What im most concerned with is if these will be equal or better to my previous Alpine Type S's. They will be run by a Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000T. Im kind of a newbie and have only had solid experience with the Type S. Im basically comparing these subs running of this amp and the type s running off a Pioneer GM-972X. They will be seeing about 100W RMS more than my Type S's did. They will hopefully be going on a slot ported enclosure in my reg cab truck. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They'll only going to be on par with basically the Type-S. If you're looking for something that will outperform the "S" you will need to look at spending a bit more cash than those Pioneer's. Not necessarily a lot more cash if the correct drivers are looked at you do your homework but more cash none the less.
