yahoo auctions Japan and www.xe.com for currency conversion although a rough rule is 110 yen to the dollar.

Bid up and buy some, then let us know if its any good.
A good number of the people on yahoo Japan seem to understand English, or be able to translate it, and they seem to like making money off us North Americans.

I think Hardwrkr was on the fact that Pioneer only sells that stuff in Japan and not over here - not that it was junk. I agree.
