ya but that doesn't mean that they don't sound good.... they look and they are priced like they should be pretty good

 

yahoo auctions Japan and www.xe.com for currency conversion although a rough rule is 110 yen to the dollar.

Bid up and buy some, then let us know if its any good.
A good number of the people on yahoo Japan seem to understand English, or be able to translate it, and they seem to like making money off us North Americans.

 

And yes again. The yellow cones component speakers are very expensive . like over $600 USA

 

I think Hardwrkr was on the fact that Pioneer only sells that stuff in Japan and not over here - not that it was junk. I agree.
