Finally found all the equipment I want to use for this season. I put it in a neat picture. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should change?

I'm going mainly for SQ and SPL on the side if it so happens.

hmmmm, so you have a MTX 9500 and your going for SQ...good woofer, I have yet to hear great things on SQ about it though.

LOL, SPL ON SIDE....3000 WATT AMP, o ya!, your lucky your driving a benz, or else it would blow apart!!

Although it wont quote Blow apart. I too would not recommend that kind of power for music.

SPL use no problem.

The 9500 is an anything you want woofer.

One 12" woofer is Street A tho i rather not compete against livin - loud 152.5 would be hard for me to hit, plus only one woofer gives me lots of space in the trunk to make everything look nice rather then crammed.

The 9500 I heard is pretty much equal for SQ and SPL if not better at SQ. For the amp, 3000 watts is merely to give me the bump in the SPL but I may go with a different one depending on how it does in SQ. plus if i ever decide to go SPL i can just buy one more of these amps and get 6000 @ 2ohms

I'm a big fan of symmetry and theme. I would use a matching MTX amp instead of the Phoenix Gold. Like was mentioned abov, that is one huge amplifier for front stage, way to much power IMO. Is the 4 channel choice to allow a rear stage in the future? If not, a 100w x 2 2 channel amp should be more than enough for the front stage. Scratch the N1, it will be replaced with a upgraded version in the very near future, the N2.

We are working on a problematic system right now that I (and the customer) are leaning heavily towards the same MTX amp and a matching 4 channel in a RSX.

MR2NR: Wow, can't wait for the N2. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...089333,00.html It looks pretty good but I paid a lot for the N1. I'll probably stick with it until N3 or something like that. If I was to sell it now I'd just lose $1,000... UNLESS they discontinue the N1 and it just so happens that mine breaks, future shop would get me a N2 for free then..

the mtx t92001 is 2000w @ 2ohm which is still more then fine (parrallel wiring on sub). in the future if i get another same amp it would be 6000w @ 2 ohm.

Reason I'm getting the x200.4 is mainly in the future if I upgrade the back speakers or add mid-range i won't have to get another amp. the thing i like about my car's doors is that it has a spot for speakers in the bottom left of the door and then another spot on the bottom right of the door just behind if not beside the passenger / driver. here's a pic

Do you think it would benefit me a lot to put some mid-range in there?

The box I'm using for the sub is a ported box.
