Good luck.

Amplifiers of that size are simply dangerous to any car electrical system.
200 amp alternator and a 1000 CCA battery (3 farad cap also in certain competitions) but then again the car isn't running in street a.

So mid-range beside the seat or just behind the seat is a bad idea?

No, it will pull sound to the rear of the vehicle rather than enforce the front stage. A second woofer could be added in the kick panels in custom pods or a new panel made for the door that would hold both woofers. From the pics it looks like a fairly easy upgrade for a good installer. The MB Quart add a woofer option would work great here. I would consider going up into the 6.5" components instead of the 5.25" components. I would use a Thunder 7804 amp for the front stage (and possible upgrade like you mention) to carry the theme of the install. For me when I am judging a vehicle, theme is important from front to back, this would keep the "flow" in line with the system being installed.

I was not aware that you had the N1, noting wrong with that at all. You have a nice vehicle and some great choices in gear, a good install will make it all come alive for you. There are some very good installers in your neck of the woods to aid you with this work if need be or just for advice.

Do you sell these? The only place where I found them was car toys in america just over the border, but then you have the huge border fees, plus the gas and all that. They told me mid to end of march it will come out but first competition isn't till april 30th anyways.

I think you have some great ideas.
I would forget the AC Epic 160 though. Just another piece to add noise into the system IMO.

Also recommend going up to the 6.5" two-way comp set from the 5.25" up front also and leave it at that for front speakers.

I'd recommend a matching MTX amp also.

If you use the same series MB Quart speakers I would suggest going with the 7804 if you are planning to go active or go with the 8502 if you are running through the passive crossovers.

Keep the NI. As far as an SQ or SPL based system I don't see anything that will help you by going to the N2.

Thanks for the tips. I probably will just end up going with the 6.5" now if I don't have to any cutting to the original plastic. I already bought the epic 160. Main reason for it was to measure my SPL on my "test" boxes. Because my main priority is SQ but it'd be nice to do good in SPL too so that's what I'm using the epic 160 for, plus it auctually takes away noise and restores bass.
