is anyone else experiencing problems with pup ups latetly(on this forum). pop ups suck and waste a lot of time and slow down the comp.

do a google search for ad-aware software by lavasoft. It's free and will take all the junk off your computer.

last week the IT guy at work told me spybot removes a lot more stuff than ad-aware

up till this morning I've always ran ad-aware

I ran it, found 28 things, removed them and then uninstalled ad-aware and installed spybot

ran spybot and found 150 more things

but yeah both are free and both help a lot

i use both and find that one finds others that the other didn't
i also use the altavista tool bar
from www.altavista.com
the google toolbar dosn't work after you run adaware and spybot
therefore the rotten bastards but spyware in there

ya the spybot when I first ran it came up with a warning saying that programs that use spyware might not work NE longer and when you install kaza if you have adware it will not install.
