They are sound related technology 15's.. I reconed them several years ago with soft spiders and heavy fiberglass dustcaps so they would play loooow... had them in 8 cubes ported to 20hz with 1500 watts for years...

I recently put them in a car I bought last fall in 4cubes sealed... then I installed a line driver Df.Dima sold me so I could get more sub output with rock music...

Long story short I was listening to some Chimeria and had my remote gain turned up when a deeeep bass note came along...

Ill pull them out sometime soon so I can measure the coil dimensions and order some recone parts, and will be sure to take some pictures...

 

LoL...not at you, but with you, I blew up my JL 12w3's on that same note in the Chimaira song (assuming same ultra low note)
