Is it possible to recone a kicker l5 to l7?

Is it possible to recone a kicker l5 to l7?
I have a 1st gen Kicker 12L5 that is blown (blackcone) and would like to recone kit to a 2nd gen Kicker L7 (silvercone). Is it possible?

Not likely, the hard parts on the L5 and L7 are completely different, the L5 has the stamped steel baskets, the L7's have cast aluminum, the size, shape and throw are all different.
