Power HX2's , whats your opinion on the 10's and 12's? How is the sound quality, durability, etc.
I heard them at Best Buy but not in a car yet. They sounded good to me but thats in a store.

i myself run 2 hx2 punch 12's in a sealed box with 1.25cu each, with 1 bd1000 wired to 1 ohm even though rockford amps dont like it, it hits pretty hard and sound quality is nice as well. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Not a big fan of the Power HX2, I actually like the Punch HX2 better.

I have a Punch HX2 12" running off a 501BD in a ported box, she hits pretty good. I hit 140db at a local competiors show. the overall sound quality is pretty good as well. if you are going for the powers just make sure you can afford the proper amps to run them.

Give em atleast 1kw daily(prefereably 2kw+)
port em, tuned mid 30's and I think you'll be VERY impressed. Very badass subs with the right power/enclosure.

Give em 4.5net, 60sq" tuned to 34hz, and I bet you like em even more

i agree with dereck...i find the power hx2 is an in-efficient pig, and not much of a daily driver sub, unless you have 3920478392084w to toss at it.

I disagree. The Power HX2 is a great sub, if you don't cheap out and actually power it properly. My friend has 2 powered to the rated RMS and they are insane. The only thing people need to remember about Rockford is that they are more SPL than SQ.
