All 3 options would be Copper. I am thinking I may just stick with the welding cable and get some techflex and heatshrink

welding wire also has a thicker jacket as its designed for extreme use in mind!!

i say welding wire is the better option here, price not a factor

Isn't welding wire not flexible at all? I hear its a pain in the *** to run through the car.

I ran welding cable in my van. Its flexible like jump rope, and not the cheap multi coloured plastic ones, I mean like actual rope. And it looks wayyyy cheaper than the Stinger

Watch out.. I posted this before. Many kits now have copper clad aluminum. Even if the gauge is the correct diameter you will have higher resistance with it. I have even seen 4 gauge looking thin like 8 gauge. YOu can see the silver looking aluminium in the strands
. I just got some stinger wire 4 gauge for $2 at Precision Acoustics on deminiac in Ville St-Laurent (montreal) .. Real copper. Tinned on the outside. Nice and flexible at Precision Auto

and Oxygen Free? hmm copper is already 99.9% oxygen free. To me this oxygen free is again another snake oil gimick. But lets not start another thread on this

His old welding cables are now used on the top ranked street car in North America.

Welding cable is more often than not going to be closer if not mroe than true awg in size. I know knukonceptz likes to oversize their wires, but there was a comparison done on another forum between a bunch of different 1/0 wire. Knu was the largest, then someone suggested welding cable...welding cable won.
