Hello all,

I will be getting a Treo SSi 15" sub very shortly, I'm also looking at getting a hifonics amp to drive it; however I don't know how much power the sub can safely handle. This is for a daily driver system, but I want lots of bass.

I've heard that these subs RMS rating are notoriously under rated. They are rated at 750W RMS, and 1,500 max. So the question is how much power should I drive this sub with?

Thanks,
NVES

Treo amps are sweet, definitely a great way to go. otherwise, try a Tru Technology H-1 or something similar.

I'd try 1000 RMS to that bad boy, and it'll pound till you cry.
