PPI Amps for SQ

I was shopping around for car audio today, and I saw a PPI Amp model 480X or something like that. It was a four channel amp, and was wondering how PPI amps where for SQ? How do they compare to JL?

Funny how times change....

Anyway - the PPI should "sound" fine. If it has the power you need and is the price you like then it is a fine choice.

PPI makes goood amps.

GREAT AMPS!!! But the newer PCX series from last year had a HUGE footprint!

Overall, PPI amps have been usually good solid amplifiers. I'm more partial to the older PPI amps (particularly to the AM, PRO-MOS, Art, Pro-Art). The PC and PCX amps are also good amps.

PPI does have some entry line amps which I'm sure are OK but I'd stick to their "high-end" amps.
