Its been a while since I've been to the local shops but I believe that Art of Noise still sells PPI and some Orion.

For strictly Orion gear, there is a place in Mississauga called Crankin' Car Sounds (or something to that effect). The owner's name is Jim and has sold Orion for as long as I can remember.

Number 1 Sound used to be a big PPI & ADS retailer back in the day but it has become a very small part of their business. If you really want PPI & ADS they should be able to hook you up.

Funny thing...Just after writing this, I noticed that you live in Saskatoon. So much for helping...

Not buying, just curious what kind of representation it has in the market these days.

In that case, its obvious that their representation on the retail level is not what it used to be. PPI products have always been on the upper end of the price scale. The pivotal point was around 1997-1998 when they released the Powerclass line. Pricing really didn't change from the previous year. Equivalent products from RF where retailing for 1/2 to 2/3 of the cost of PPI products. Even though Alma Gates made the trip to Canada with the world's loudest truck (at that time). It wasn't enough to convince consumers to buy a 600W amp for $1000-1200 CDN...

I was in there a couple months ago and they were trying to get rid of whatever they had in stock of PPI and Soundstream. They said they weren't going to carry them anymore. They're pushing JL like crazy and told me that a w3.v2 would eat my RE HC.
The only thing I like about that shop is that talking to the owner's with cash in hand gets you a good deal. Gotta get past the moron's at the desk/demo boards though.
