Problem with JVC KD-AVX11

I have JVC AVX11 players, but i have some problems, it wont play any video
When i put DVD in, it says "Region Code Error", and when i put some DivX in (I supposed to press 'Disp' button), it says "Parking brake", i have sound, but no picture, does anyone knows what can be the problem?
About this region code... I leave in Serbia, is that prob?
My JVC is from Canada
PLS HELP ME
It will be LOOOOOOONG trip if I want to change my player back

With the region code since you bought your deck from north america it will only let you play movies from north america you can get programs to burn the dvd which will remove your region code using a program like clone dvd2 with anydvd copyright decoder and with the parking brake it wont let you play video with the parking break off, you can either install a switch or some people just put their parking break on one notch so it engages the switch without engaging the actual brake

OR some people just ground the e brake wire (lt green) and it will work at all times. It is illegal here but I am not sure of the laws there
