I don't really have any use for a pure SPL *** sounding set up in my vehicle
so I'll probably go for Psychlone this year

I'm gonna probably have six subs so it's gonna be in a weird class though

Anyone care to better elaborate on Psyclone? How is it run? What do you do? I don't know FA about it. What does "Those who don't know what psychlone is its db drags version of sq." mean? How so?

Thanks Matt!

Edit: Just finished reading up on it. Looks like its Psyclone Pro for me. Still looks fun.

I'll just post this part for others.

Introduction

Psychlone is a new format of competition designed to capture the original excitement of a great sounding aftermarket car stereo installation. Systems that capture the audience with a balanced concert type of presentation. This format is also designed to cater to the vast majority of auto sound enthusiasts who design and build their systems to sound great at moderate to high listening levels. All of the original, "old school", elements of car stereo competition are integrated into Psychlone judging.

* Sound Pressure Level (SPL) is used to determine how "loud" the stereo system can play.
* Real Time Analysis (RTA) is used to determine the frequency response of the system.
* Installation Quality is used to determine if the fundamental elements of good aftermarket installation are followed.

low tunning is fun...

I like the daily driver systems that hit mid to high 140's @ 10hz.......
