Guy at work has an old school punch 45 that i wanna make an offer on but have no idea what to offer?
The amp is in good working condition and cosmetically ok as well.
I was thinking $50 - $75 range, is that fair?

Sure is. What kind of shape cosmetically is it in? Back in the day I ran a pair of Punch 12s off one, briged 2 ohm mono. It was great.

This amp will do 2 ohm mono? Were you taking youre chances or was it designed to do it?
Its in decent shape for its age..

The old Fosgate stuff was/is really nice. My punch 100 was wired up at 1ohm's and never complained.

I have a Punch 55.2.

It's small, rated at 27.5w x 2, and it kicks butt! I just use it to run my dashboard 2-way coax's, and it keeps up to my other amps no problemo. Gain is set at minimum, all the way to the left.

My only complaint (and it's irrelevent right now since they're set at minimum) about it is it has a gain for each channel, rather than a gain for both. Pain in the **** to set evenly...

I paid $50 for it used, if someone offered me $100 today, I'd refuse.
