I'm able to get a pair of 8" MTX subs in shallow mount boxes (I have a reg cab mazda b2200 so shallow boxes are hard to come by). The guy wants $35 for them each, I'm not sure if anyone has heard anything about these subs, if they're any good or not. If anyone has any input please let me know!

 

I ran four MTX 5500 series T5508-44 subs for 5 years up until a month ago. Fantastic woofer - did everything I wanted and more. Handled 300watts each (rated for 200w) without a hitch too.
