A buddy of mine is selling a MA Audio HK1998. Its rated at 600W RMS @ 4ohms and 1200W @ 2ohms. I would use it to power either 1 15" or 2 12" subs. I was wondering if those numbers were real and if the amp would be a good pick up. Your opinion helps. Thanks

 

They are not real rms power is more like 800Wrms @ 2ohm at 14.4volts around there. Not a bad amp though.
