I just finished speaking with Alpine tech USA, 'cause I can never get anyone at local tech support, and they said that there is no such thing as a software upgrade.

I was curious about this and why Alpine would offer such a thing like this. If the D901 is brand new why would it need a software upgrade?

Alright,

I just picked up an IVA-D900 instead. The price was just too good to pass up. Dam, I can't wait to install this unit tomorrow!
