Quick Wiring Q'

I have two 4 ohm subwoofers. Hoping to power both onto a 4ohm rated amp. ZX7500 500X2.

To have a total of a 4ohm load onto the amp i must do...

A positive terminal from 1 sub to the negative of the other. Then the remaing positive and negative left, go to the amp. Making a total of 4 ohms??

If you would like to wire two four ohm subs, your options would be to either
1) Wire in series and have an 8 ohm load or
2) Wire in parallel and have a 2 ohm load...
You will not be able to have a 4 ohm final load with two four ohm subs...

Well which one would be best?

Could i not just hook each speaker right to the amp? Or would that not be good.

Why not just run them at 2ohm?

I was told it was rated for a 4 ohm load. But to tell you the truth i really dont no if thats true, and cant really find much info on the amp on the net cause its an oldschool one.

By running it at 2 ohms that would mean each speaker just goes right to the amp right, since there both 4 ohm subs
