This is a mono amp, which means it puts out power onto one channel. If this is true, how come the amp has outputs for two speakers? (2+'s and 2-'s)

paralelled internally? so if i hook up a 4ohm sub to each pair of outputs, the amp will see a 2ohm load?

that you could, as long as them amp is 2 ohm stable.

the amp is 1ohm stable but i think it is 2 ohm optimized correct?

I'd run them at 1 ohm, they are very stable there. They put out a bit extra power there even.

We gained 1.0 dB's by loading them down to ½ ohm. They were ran daily like that for 2 months, ended up smoking some drivers, and still remained in immaculate condition.
