RCA cables

hey...
i have a set of rockford fosgate braded RCA cables but when i pulled it out from behined my deck the other day one of the brades came out...
are the still useable...?
will this affect the quilty from my subs...

IIRC the cable you are using has 3 black "wires" braided for each side correct? Unscrew the RCA and and make sure that the other two wires are still soldered to the pin and the shield.
What I suspect is that the 3rd "wire" which is really just a dummy run of plastic tubing so they can actually braid the cable came out of the end. weave it back into the other two and shove it in the back of the barrel. A spot of CA or a small tie strap will keep it there.
IF in fact a conductor broke then it will need to be resoldered in place.
