I have an old Fosgate pr2100 amplifier with a 5 pin DIN input plug, i was wondering if anyone has come across a converter to go from an rca output from an aftermarket head unit into this 5 pin DIN and into the amplifier.

the pr200 uses an rockford preamp, I don't believe you can use the amp without the preamp, they were sold as a set.

yeah it uses the preamp, but isn't a new head unit with built in amplification basically a pre-amplifier? because the tape deck my dad ran the amp on previously didn't have any sort of built in amplification?

I bought an RCA to Din Patch cord a few weeks ago at Brack Stereo on Wellington (in T.O.) to hook up an old british amp I bought.
