Curious to see what everyone is using for RE Subs and how many watts RMS they are getting away with running them. DB scores a plus.

 

The most I've attempted on my SX's with music was ~1400rms a piece... I've got a lot in store for em' soon though...

 

I think Dave Da Silva had a 3000w Mmats amp on each of his 10 SX's ....

sorry I hit MX instead of MT... I ran a pair of MT 12's last year with 10,000 watts RMS into each one of them, hitting an all time personal best of 161.2dB on AC SPL190

no burnt coils no over xmax... just LOUD!!!


Dave DaSilva runs 2 RE SX 10's in his neon with 3,000 watts RMS each... need more xmax...tends to blow them apart often with a full out burp... but still hit 153.7dB on AC SPL190 at world finals 2005 and won his class in Stock 1, couple weeks ago he hit 152.7dB on termlab at the last show at Concepts on wheels with slightly damaged 10's he actually hit that score on the 4th burp as it kept putting his amp into protect!

 

man even though im on co op right now and making some $$$. I dont think I can even afford another XXX at the new pricing. And you gave me a nice price last time too. Maybe After my winter semester depending on what kinda job I land. But sure would kick *** to have another XXX and a mmats d3000.1 or somethign along those lines lol.

 

12" XXX running off a viper 1200.1 in a rather large box to make up for hte lack of power. Jeep isn't overly happy as it is when it's up at full volume....the batter guage dances when teh bass hits, and on the wackier songs, the the lights will dim.

0 guage wire might help, but....another XXX would help me more...despite what my jeep has to say about it to begin...then the other suff could get upgraded

 

I am running 1 12" MT on an American bass 200.1

 

I run a single re sx 12 and put it on a single earthquake d10 @ .35 ohms, so i imagine over 3000 watts and did 146.8 on termlab at the last concepts show.

 

im runnin a single sx-12, off an alpine mrd-m500, 500W rms into 2 ohms. undersized sealed box. still sounds good with the right bass notes.
