I just traded decks with a guy that has a truck dash just like this one so I know exactly what you are going through.
I was the original installer on his truck and the damn thing had a **** job deck in it...hack hack hack and the cd was in.
They didn't leave to much room on the left side of the deck for after market installs let me tell ya. keep it up chunkster.

anybody got a pic of the kit that Shon mentioned? My truck had a DIN CD player put in it before I got it and they centered the deck so I have that little bit of opening left at the bottom and top from the previous two-shaft radio. I made a trim plate to hide it but I still get dinged for not perfectly matching the factory grain of the dash. Yeah, I'd love to see someone do that.

my '77 had the same dash as that. except I left the stock **** radio alone, and beat the **** out of the cubby whole above it.

If you think yours is ghetto, I took out most of the metal with plyers and a tire iron!

I honestly didnt care about the truck... It was a winter beater, yet it didnt even last until winter!

Your installations skills are on a par with your spelling! But... if it makes you happy... good... because we get to laugh too! Keep up the good work Chunkster...

You should run for political office by the way. They get laughed at for what they do and are paid for it, you do it for free!
