I just recieved the subs in the mail from Jimmyslide. But due to a full pm box for a few weeks now, I cant get in touch with him for the specs on the speakers. So im hoping some one can post the specs for me, so i can get started on a box for them. I went to the RE site, but it looks like they are showing specs of the newer dual voice coil 8" and i have the single coil one. RE8 speaker

Nice sub. I have specs on the RE8 in Bassbox, might be for the DVC one, but I don't imagine the specs differ that much:

FS=22.8hz
QMS=4.21
Vas=.957 cu. ft.
xmax=12mm
qes=.76
re=3.2
qts=.64

Hope that gets you started. If you go vented, do at least 1.5 cubes total, and tune around 30-35hz probably. DUKK will probably offer some more insight into designs for you.
