Reaching Pioneer??

Aaron, what can I help you with. If it's regarding product that isn't available yet, give your head a shake before you start calling people "dorks" if they don't know about something that's not even on the market yet. If it's something that Pioneer currently offers, give me a try & I'll see if I can help. By the way, Pioneer DOES have a toll free line (it's noted below).

truth be told - Pioneer has some damn impressive subs out right now.

They just happened to have a great design. If you had stuck some better subs in there I wouldn't be surprised if the score was a bit higher.

I've seen them used in comps. I wasn't impressed.
I've also seen some research on them from people who have used them and they weren't impressed either.
I haven't really heard one good thing about them to be honest with you.

Ok,Guys....
Enough!
Pioneer is not the end all and be all in SPL. and neither am I...Never claimed to be...never will...
As far as Pioneer subs...I run the cheapy 700 watt SVC subs...and man can those things take a punishment...Last season at one show, we ran a VR2000D on 2 of em and they still work like a charm...I for one,am a diehard Pioneer fan!
As far this product that I am looking for info on,I eventually found info on it from Pioneer USA in L.A.The reason it wasnt known of up here is because its an American only model...
As far as me calling the dude a Dork,he was one...not because he couldnt answer my questions, but because he sounded like he didnt know which end of the trumpet to blow into...he asked me the same series of questions 4 times...and I gave him the same answers 4 times...
Maltesechicken,I have competed in SPL....Remember...I'm the dude with the 8 track??I may not have hit huge unreal numbers, but I did take a couple 1st's last year and that alone is good enough for me.....
As far as me staying secret,A)I want to try to do this on my own for once rather than having to lean on everybody else like I have for the last 2 seasons...I've learned alot and want to see if I've learned enough to be competitive....B)I'm tired of telling people what I plan to run and getting nothing but "oh that wont work"(with a few given exceptions...thanks guys)...
You'll learn soon enough what I've got going on and I hope to suprise some people with the results....but if not...oh well....another lesson learned, right?

I know what your saying,Vladi, but they also said the 8 track thing wouldnt work...I proved them wrong...
Like I say, I want to give it a go and see what happens...Like I said in my last post,if I'm wrong, oh well...not the first time and wont be the last....it'll be another lesson learned, right?
Thanks for your thoughts Vladi....I know exactly what you mean..

Aaron,
I agree Pioneer
Their gear is great bang for the buck. I find their woofers (even their cheapies) are under rated for the abuse they can take.
You competed with 8-track? I thought that you never got the car to the point of competition; Or was that you never finished installing the other goodies like the Atari etc. I forget what you all did. Come to think of it, did Frankstein hit in the low 150's?
