Really need some advice
I just bought myself an Alpine CDE9845 (got a great deal on it) and am looking to replace the factory speakers. The fronts consist of 6 1/2" that are located pretty much at the bottom of the door and 6x9"s in the rear. At this time I'm not looking to buy an amp or sub (may come later) and my options are pretty limited due to location and some other stuff.
My choices for speakers from the place that will be installing my HU are Alpine, Panasonic, and JVC. There is also another shop in town that carries Pioneer and Clarion speakers. Although I like my music (rock/metal) loud my priorities are SQ even with my limited budget....around $300 total.
What would you consider to be my best options around that price range? Any future upgrades would consist of an amp first and sub last. I might even consider getting an amp this time around so any recommendations in the $200 range would be great too. Thanks
Edit: I should also state that I can't stand bright speakers at all. I'll definitely choose warmer sounding speakers given the choice.

At that price range, most of the big brands are decent sounding, at least compared to most stock speakers. I would look for speakers with dome tweets, silk if you can find them in your budget would suit your taste for warmer highs. Clarion has some well priced co-axials with silk domes in that price range that sound pretty nice the last time i heard them. Check them out.
Well I took a look at the Clarion stuff the other day and decided on the SRR 1685 that has the silk tweeters and I'm also getting their APA250 2 Channel amp for now. This way I've managed to keep the cost down and still leave room for growth.
Once again thanks for the help and suggestions.
Oh, and if anynone is in the market for a fairly inexpensive HU I'd highly reccomend the Alpine CDE9845. Even with my stock speakers right now the sound difference over the JVC HU I had is quite noticeable. Not only that but it looks great too.
