yes that is possible. this is why u should never punch your streering wheel.

very similar scenario happened to a buddy of mine who made the air bag deply by punching the wheel in a state of rage.

But would the alarm go off too? I could see one or the other happening, but not both. (AFAIK the alarm doesn't go off when the car gets into an accident, unless it was parked and armed)

if u look close at teh vid he isnt hitting the sterring wheel though just the dash

lol dunno about the alarm in this case, althought i have seen many accidents where a car alarm just doesnt shut up after.
