I bought a kicker cvt in a truck sub box because i have a 1989 gmc s15 and there is little room for any subs. Right now I have 2 rockford fosgate "punch" speakers, i am pretty new to car audio so i assume they are "mids" they are in boxes also that fit behind the seat.

Can anyone recommend me an amp that will work well with a 12" kicker cvt that isn't too costly(trying to stay under 150 bucks by buying on internet, so make any suggestions and i may be able to find it cheap) but I may also end up buying a second sub if just 1 isn't enough.

I am wondering if the sub is too overpowering and I can't really hear the music if I can make new boxes for the rockford fosgate mids and have 2 regular speakers, 2 mids, and 1 sub. The amp and the mids would be behind my seat. Will a mono amp power 2 mids and 1 sub? Or would I even be able to do this? I heard mono amps are the best for subs so I was trying to stick to those.
