Yes soon enough i will be purchasing a full audio setup .. i would like some recommendations for :

Subs :
Sub amp :
6 1/2s :
6x9s :
component sub :
tweeters :
head unit :

I'm looking for products in those categories that will work real well with each other .. i'm looking for an extremely loud sound. All this will be going into a 5th gen civic coupe si.. Also if someone knows.. is it possible to get surround sound with this setup or is there another way ? ( I will have DVDs playin in my car as well as a ps2.. so surround sound would be perfect for that ) .

ANy info would be greatly appreciated . My budget for the whole deal(audio setup) is less than a G.

Well, he said audio setup, so I don't know if he meant to include the DVD. It may be possible under a G if you take out the DVD.

Umm, you have sub AND component sub? Was that just an unintentional double?

Well you will have to go used for sure. I happen to have a a few things that would meet your needs. I have a set of 5.25 infintiy comps and a pair of pioneer 6x9s. I will do for $200 for the 2 sets. Then you could get one 12" sub for around $150-200. There are a couple of good cheap amps out there too. There is alot of the MTX 250D amps floating around this board for about $200. Also the JBL 300.1 would be good. Another $200 for a small 4 ch amp like a JBL 80.4. They go on ebay for pretty cheap. For the HU i would get a nice used pioneer or a older alpine. They can be found for about $200

So the run down:

HU - $150-$200 for a used Pioneer
Speaks - $200 from me for 5.25 comps and 6x9's
Sub - Something like a IDQ 12 can be found for around $180
Highs amp - JBL 80.4 around $130 USD
Sub amp - JBL 300.1 around the same price as the 80.4 130 USD

After al that you should have a decent system and a few bucks left over for materials and wiring. $1000 if spent wisely will get you a pretty good used system.
