this is for the truly older car audio guys that grew up in the scarborough area circa. 1986...Mctronics, silverstar blvd, midland and finch. They installed my first "high end" booster and 6x9s. I think the installer's name was Bob, that dude always looked stoned, but he did good work and never skimped. I also remember buying my first cd player from Bass audio on kennedy rd close to lawrence, and then there was also MAS mobile audio service on ellesmere and pharmacy. These are some truly old school shops for the older guys...if you're under 35 chances are you won't know any of them.

Burlington radioactive?
Boys in woodstock...damn too many to remember
Natural sound in Kitchener they've been around forever
Autosonics in guelph....had a store in oakville for a couple years too
Powerline electronics in Guelph
Sounds good Audio ? woodbridge
HiFi Plus around hamilton or stoner creek

Burlington Radioactive was still open this afternoon.....

My first good shop experience was at Classic Auto Radio....they were on Roncesvalles Ave. just north of Howard Park, moved up Dundas north of Bloor and then out to Dundas St. west of Kipling. Owner's name was Gary Porter, one of very few people I met when starting out that was patient with newbs with a million questions, which we joked about for years afterwards......

Powerline was still there the last time I drove west out of Guelph heading for Kitchener....
