i got a pioneer 12" Subwoofer, TS-W302R and it gives out 800 watts max, 150 watts RMS ..

heres the specifics:

* Cone material: injection-molded polypropylene (IMPP) composite for strength and durability
* Surround: urethane, dual layer
* Magnet type: strontium
* Voice coil: four-layer with aluminum bobbin
* Damper: Conex for linear bass response<
* Basket design: stamped with magnet cover
* Gasket: molded
* Terminals: spring compression
* Nominal power handling capability: 150 watts RMS
* Maximum music power handling capability: 800 watts
* Frequency response: 20 to 4000 Hz
* Sensitivity: 91 dB (1 watt at 1 meter)
* Impedance rating: 4 ohms
* Mounting depth: 5.75 inches
* Cut-out dimension: 10.9 inches
* Weight: 1.5 lbs.
* Recommended enclosure size: 1 to 2 cubic feet

and heres the amp i wanna put on it.. and i want it bridged too.

120 Watts x 2 Max Music Power @ 4ohm (Peak)
300 Watts x 1 Max Music Power (Bridge, 4ohm)
60 Watts x 2 @ 4 ohm (RMS)
75 Watts x 2 @ 2 ohm (RMS)
150 Watts x 1 Continuous Power Bridged @ 4ohm
Frequency Response: 10Hz to 50kHz
Total Harmonic Distortion (1kHz, 4ohm): <0.008%
>100dB Signal to Noise Ratio
Bridgeable 1/2 Channel Capacity
Balanced Isolator Input Channel
Oversized Screw-Type Power/Ground Terminals
2 Ch. RCA Inputs
Speaker Level Input
Screw-Type Speaker Terminals
Hi-Volt Input Level Control (400 mV-6.5V)
LPF Crossover Type
Crossover Frequency: 80Hz

if im reading it right. it says at 150 watts on 4 ohm i can wire it bridged and my sub is 150 watts rms so would it work?

120 RMS INTO THAT SUB IS not ENOUGH.

You won't be happy, it won't be loud enough, so you'll run it into clipping all the time and destroy your sub.

I used to use two 12" 301's with 300 RMS EACH.

Get a bigger amp!!

Its 150w RMS?
"150 Watts x 1 Continuous Power Bridged @ 4ohm"

Still, 150w isn't much. I went with 400w rms for a single sub and I wouldn't consider my self a bass person. If you have it already give it a go. Looks like you're meeting the spec of the sub.

What impedance is the sub? will you amp run bridged at 2ohms? could squeeze more power out of it.

You would also squeeze the amp into destructing....
