Just wondering how you guys think 1 12" HX2 would sound and what amp, box, etc would sound the best?

 

Should sound fine with the proper match of equipment to it. A ported enclosure will give it the depth extension it is capable of and some good SPL as well. For a good amp, have a look at the Concept CC500M while it is on sale.
