just got a pair for a 100 bucks brand new still in the orignal boxes just wondering if these are worth useing for spl.. people around here and only hitting 145 at the most..

I think they area great sub, alot of guys are running them and hitting alright..Good for a daily driver system

that would depend on the box setup, and power you plan on giving them!! but to be in the 14x's will depend on alot of key factors!! Box and power being the two biggest factors..

in my car now i have a set of Rockford p1s 12s in a rockford box and I'm hitting 139.6 dbs.. also should i get two amps or one to run these subs and what should the box calculations be.. sorry I'm new to this stuff and I'm interesting in learning lol

For all the info, you can find it all on Rockfords website, they are Super helpful when it comes to "learning". As for amps, get an amp(or if you have an amp) that totals what the subs total, so liek a Rockford Bd1000.1 would do the trick, or something to that equivilant. Also another thing to keep in mind, Ohm's, the final load you will present to the amp makes a world of a difference!! as it says on the website those subs are Dual 2ohm so that will give you a TON of opportunities.
